Atlanta Hawks

The license was formed in 1946 as the Blackhawks Tri-Cities Buy Fiesta Bowl Tickets (named after native black hawk of the Tri-City) of the league of national basketball; it was based on the area of the tri-city between Moline, Illinois, the island of the rock, Illinois, and Davenport, Iowa (now called the cities of the quadrangle).
